Abstract |
The project report describes the operation of pilot-scale air pollution control devices to gather data on air pollution efficiency versus several different operating parameters on various waste-as-fuel combustio processes. It also includes a test of a full scale fabric filter used to control dust emissions. The refuse-derived fuel is burned, along with pulverized coal, in a suspension-fired boiler. The pilot device testing program involved the evaluation of pollutant removal efficiency of a mobile electrostatic precipitator (ESP) and a mobile scrubber. |
