Abstract |
A comparison of three leaching tests was performed with fourteen industrial wastes to evaluate the potential of each test for use as a standard leaching test. The study was done in conjunction with a background study on the development of a standard leaching test. The advantages and disadvantages of each test, based on the leaching characteristics of the fourteen wastes and the usefulness of each procedure as a standard test, are analyzed and compared. Finally, some comments on the need for careful interpretation of test results are provided. |
