RFA: High Performance Computing (1996) RFA Text | Recipients Lists
Research Category: Aquatic Ecosystems , Environmental Statistics , Human Health
Objective:
The objective of this project is to explore and evaluate techniques for using knowledge about the environment, environmental data sets, data analysis techniques, data analysis software, and people's work and preferences to assist people in analyzing environmental data sets.Progress Summary:
The prototype software operates on data sets and produces several types of analyses by controlling several data analysis packages. This is accomplished by creating a conceptual description of operations and analyses to be performed that is independent of any package. Package-specific code then evaluates each request to see how well it can be satisfied.Future Activities:
Start evaluation by users. Suggest relevant analyses.Journal Articles:
