Description:
A catalyst system using a special support material is pro- posed for simultaneous treatment of gaseous pollutants SO2, CO, NOx, and hydrocarbons as well as particulate matter in flue gases from power plants. Preliminary ex- periments on one of the proposed catalysts show promising results for simultaneous conversion of gaseous pollutants. Phase I research and development program proposes reac- tion kinetic studies with prepared catalysts to understand the potential and limitation of the catalyst system for treatment of power plant emissions.Supplemental Keywords:
