Objective:
Address the concerns that Delawareans have voiced regarding local air quality due to surrounding industry and traffic. Monitoring air toxics presents an opportunity to begin to address many of the problems that have negatively impacted the health, well-being, and quality of life for generations of Delawareans.
Progress Summary:
Request for Proposals issued on March 4th,2024. Bid proposals received on April 8th, 2024. Contracts issued and purchase orders submitted for Air Quality Monitoring Instruments on July 8th,2024. Project currently in procurement stage. Air Monitoring study has not commenced pending receipt of instruments and procurement of monitoring trailer.
Future Activities:
Procurement of monitoring trailer.
