Objective:
This project sought to develop a freely accessible, evidence-based decision-support tool (CHRIS) to identify potential chemical risks due to common sources and known occurrence of chemical contaminants in the environment.
Progress Summary:
- Finished the alpha version of CHRIS tool (excel and app-based)
- Supported graduate and undergraduate students travel and work for dissemination of CHRIS tool-related products
- Presented CHRIS Tool at a workshop at the Colorado Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Symposium and in course lectures focused on chemical contaminants in low-resource settings (e.g., underrepresented populations, Low Income Countries, humanitarian response)
- Prepared drafts for submission in peer-reviewed journals for CHRIS tool development and systematic review of chemical occurrence and risk factors
Future Activities:
Revising and submitting drafts for peer-reviewed journals for CHRIS tool development and systematic review of chemical occurrence and risk factors
