Description:
Biomass heating/cooking stoves in developing countries do not efficiently cook food or heat houses, while consuming too much fuel and emitting pollution resulting in respiratory illnesses, premature death, and climate change. Affordable technologies found in 1.) EPA approved heating stoves, 2.) DOE funded cooking stoves, and 3.) TEG (thermoelectric generation) lighting devices, improve heating, cooking, and lighting performance, reduce fuel use by 60%, and emissions of PM2.5 and CO by 95%.
ASAT specializes in heating/cooking/TEG technologies and has developed super-clean biomass cooking stoves with DOE grants. ASAT proposes to develop an Integrated Stove that will be sold and replace traditional stoves in developing world markets. The Integrated Stove will heat homes and cook food much more effectively while lighting the kitchen, and charging cell phones and small appliances. The Integrated Stove will meet the ISO/IWA Tier 4 metrics, the 2015 WHO Intermediate Indoor Air Guidelines and the 2020 EPA Heating Stove PM2.5 standards.
ASAT will sell the Integrated Stove in China through an existing one million stove per year distribution network, in ten developing world countries where ASAT has developed heating/cooking stoves, and in the USA through StoveTecStore.net, a commercially successful outlet owned and operated by ASAT.
