Abstract
This final report summarizes a comprehensive database that considers all sources of chromium in the environment, the likelihood for its exposure to humans, and the possible consequences to man and lower organisms from its absorption. This information is integrated into a format that can serve as the basis for qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, while at the same time identifying gaps in our knowledge that limit accurate health assessment. Thus, it is expected that this document may serve the information needs of other government agencies and the private sector that may be involved in decision making and regulatory activities.
