Abstract
This document consists of three volumes addressing human exposure, to dioxin-like compounds. olume I is an Executive Summary of Volumes II and III. olume I also includes a unique section on research recommendations. olume II describes the properties, sources, environmental levels, and background exposures to dioxin-like compounds Volume III presents methods for assessing site-specific assessments of exposure to these compounds. he three-volume set serves as a final version of the 1988 draft document titled, Estimating Exposure to 2,3,7,8-TCDD. his effort represents a substantial expansion in scope to include all compounds that exhibit dioxin-like toxicity. he document is intended to be used in conjunction with the health reassessment of dioxin-like compounds which the Agency is preparing concurrently.
