A Memo From The IRIS Director (Multiple)

In January 2018, the IRIS Program released 2 draft documents: the IRIS Assessment Plan for Uranium (IAP) and the Systematic Review Protocol for the IRIS Chloroform Assessment (Inhalation). In conjunction with these two draft documents, the IRIS program included a memo that included information regarding the implementation of systematic review in the IRIS Program.

In September 2017, the IRIS Program released 3 draft documents that they are calling IRIS Assessment Plans (IAPs). These documents, similar to the scoping and problem formulation materials that the IRIS Program released in the past, represent recent efforts to more formally integrate systematic review into the existing IRIS scoping/problem formulation phase (part of Step 1 of the IRIS process). The IRIS Program will hold a 30-day public comment period to ensure that stakeholders and the public have an opportunity to review and comment on IAPs for three chemicals: nitrate/nitrite, ethylbenzene, and chloroform .
