The model Access UAO is used by EPA staff when drafting nationally consistent CERCLA § 104(e) access orders in order to gain entry to property for the purposes of determining the need for a response, choosing or taking any response action under CERCLA, or otherwise enforcing the provisions of CERCLA in situations where consent for such access is not granted. Additional information on the use of this model is provided in the supporting documents listed below.
