Formula
Notes Derived from emission factor intended for natural gas-fired boilers. All PM (total, condensible and filterable) is assumed to be less than 1.0 micrometer in diameter. Therefore, the PM emission factors presented here may be used to estimate PM10, PM2.5 or PM1 emissions. Total PM is the sum of the filterable PM and condensible PM. Condensible PM is the PM collected using EPA Method 202 (or equivalent). Filterable PM is the PM collected on, or prior to, the filter of an EPA Method 5 (or equivalent) sampling train.
