Impact/Purpose:

Description:

Through a wide range of information and topics, Integrated Watershed Management Principles and Practice shows how involved the watershed management planning process can be. The book is informative, and the author obviously has researched the subject thoroughly. The book's case studies are varied, demonstrating the hindrances of poor planning versus the rewards of the well-planned watershed management process. However, it weighs heavier on the principles of watershed management than on the practice itself. Many of the case studies are brief and do not adequately demonstrate how all the components come into play.
