Description:
This manuscript is the report from a workshop on behavioral testing methods that was held in Philadelphia PA on June 20-21, 2003. The workshop evaluated various aspects of behavioral testing methodology with the overall objective of identifying factors to improve the conduct of behavioral testing and the quality of behavioral data submitted to US Federal Agencies. The workshop participants represented numerous experts in behavioral testing from industrial, academic and government organizations. The output from the workshop will be used to help develop a primer on behavioral testing methods that will be a resource for those conducting and evaluating behavioral testing in a regulatory context. The potential impact of the report is to provide information useful in improving the quality of behavioral testing data submitted to EPA and other Federal Agencies.
