Description:

The Environmental Technology Verification report discusses the technology and performance of the DriPak 90/95% air filter for dust and bioaerosol filtration manufactured by AAF International. The pressure drop across the filter was 104 Pa clean and 348 Pa dust loaded, and the filtration efficiency for all bioaerosols tested was 99% both when the filter was clean and when dust loaded except the filtration efficiency was 95% for bacteriophage MS2 when the filter was clean. The ASHRAE 52.2 dust filtration efficiency was 87% for particles between 0.3 and 1.0 micrometers, 99% for particles between 1.0 and 3.0 micrometers, and 99% for particles between 3.0 and 10 micrometers. The minimum efficiency reporting value was 15 at 0.93 cubic meters per sec.
