This presentation will discuss recommended and new resources for the USEPA's Pathogen Equivalency Committee including: 1) Committee's creation in 1985 and its purpose 2) Drexel University Professor Chuck Haas' 2001 report (Assessment of the PEC Process) and its findings 3) NAS/NRC Findings and recommendations for supporting the PEC 4) EPA's response to the NRC's recommendations and plans for providing resources

Working towards having PEC members' set aside a certain amount of time for the PEC through a request from EPA-HQ Management.
