OVERVIEW OF EPA'S QUALITY REQUIREMENTS FOR SOLICITATIONS AND CONTRACTS

Citation:

Batterman, A R. OVERVIEW OF EPA'S QUALITY REQUIREMENTS FOR SOLICITATIONS AND CONTRACTS. Presented at 23rd Annual National Conference on Managing Environment Quality Systems, Tampa, FL, April 15, 2004.

Description:

The purpose of this presentation and this Website is to assist EPA employees to determine the type of Quality Assurance (QA) requirements needed for work under contract. Most environmental data are collected on behalf of EPA by other organizations. EPA has made available this easy reference of the necessary QA requirements and activities to be performed at all levels of contracting to ensure that data are of sufficient quantity and adequate quality for their intended use. On this Website, EPA specifications are broadly defined and cross referenced with the Federal procurement and financial assistance regulations for each type of extramural agreement that EPA uses to collect, generate, use, or report environmental data. At this session we will demonstrate and review the information available at the Website as well as answer any specific questions you may have about this site. This abstract does not necessarily reflect EPA policy.
