Description:

I have been asked to speak again to the environmental science class regarding actual research scenarios related to my work at Kerr Lab. I plan to discuss sampling protocols along with various field analyses performed during sampling activities. Many of the students have never seen portable field meters, colorimetric test kits, or the variety of Geoprobing equipment that we utilize regularly. I believe that a brief Powerpoint presentation along with some visual aids will give the students some practical knowledge that they tend to miss in the text book setting.
