To create summaries of child-specific environmental exposure information on key chemicals in order to facilitate better decision-making on health issues related to children.

Description:

The USEPA Toxicity and Exposure Assemment for Children's Health (TEACH) project summarizes child-related toxicity and exposure information for a list of key environemntal contaminants that have potential public health impacts to children in the United States. The project's objective is to compile these summaries into an internet accessible database to be used by environmental agency persinnel, physicians, public health officials and parents, in order to facilitate informed decision-making in situations where children's health is a consideration.
