EPA will use this set of historical and projected emission inventories as input to air quality models, to predict ambient concentrations and public health impacts under alternative regulatory scenarios that will be of interest in the development of implementation policies for the PM2.5 and 8-hour ozone NAAQS.
Description:
The product will be a set of historical and projected emission inventories. The projected inventories will represent a number of alternative regulatory scenarios. Inventories will be in the form required by CMAQ/Models-3 and other air quality models, and will be accompanied by necessary auxiliary files to permit speciation, temporal and spatial allocation, etc.
