Impact/Purpose:
Increase nurses' knowledge and understanding of environmental health risks facing children so that they can promote and/or initiate nursing and consumer-based educational programs around the issue of environmental health threats to children.
Description:
The American Nurses Association/Foundation will develop online, in print and pre conference continuing education (CE) children's environmental health protection programs to meet the objective of the program. The first CE program is on school environments, the second on home and community and the third on workplace environments.
