Impact/Purpose:
The product will be used by the US EPA, CARB, health care providers, and the community in the California's Central Valley to understand the relationship between air pollution and admissions to emergency room or hospitalization for respiratory and cardiovascular illness.
Description:
The study collected data from monitoring of PM and criteria pollutants (PM10, PM2.5, CO, NO2, ozone, etc.) and mobidity data from Kaiser Permanente. The study then examined the relationship between air pollutants and hospital admissions.
