The Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation will create an overall, comprehensive Wetland Mgmt. Program as well as initiate a wetland management protocol for the State Land Board's, constitutionally-mandated Stewardship Trust program.
Description:
1) Develop a comprehensive Wetlands Mgmt. Program and Plan for Colorado State Parks. 2) Assess wetland values and management needs on recently-acquired State Park lands. 3) Assess wetland values and management needs on select Colorado State Land Board (SLB) lands: a) Assess those parcels in the Stewardship Trust program within or adjacent to state park units b) Assess a large parcel in Conejos County with extensive, significant wetlands.
