Citation:

Ferguson*, T D. POLLUTION PREVENTION IN THE METAL FINISHING INDUSTRY. Presented at Univ. os Cincinnati Engineering Students, Cincinnati, OH, 10/14/2003.

Description:

A broad overview of the metal finishing processes in pollution prevention. The volume of hazardous/toxic waste streams produced from metal finishing operations is significant. It is common for product surfaces to undergo more than 10 finishing steps. The elimination of any of the suface processing steps is desired to reduce processing costs and waste production.
