Description:

This report is intended to provide an overview of the treatment technology research conducted by EPA over the last 20 years. It describes the nature and scope of the regulations which have been promulgated since the passage of the SDWA. It discusses recently identified disinfection by-products and related regulations and reviews some of the trends that have developed with respect to compliance with the rules and regulations under the SDWA.
