Description:
The Ecological Soil Screening Level (Eco-SSL) Work Group, composed of scientists and risk assessors from EPA, Environment Canada, DOE, Army, Navy, Air Force, states, industry, academia, and consulting companies, has been working on the development of scientifically sound, ecologically-based soil screening levels. EPA recently released the Draft Eco-SSL Guidance document on the Internet at www.wpa.gov/superfund/programs/risk/tooleco.
