Description:
MSW bioreactors offer an innovative way of optimizing existing landfill volume by actively degrading the waste mass within a waste containment system. Bioreactor leachate, gas, and solids monitoring is part of a 5 year CRADA between US EP A and Waste Mgt., Inc. at the Outer Loop LF in Louisville, KY, and this presentation will describe interim results of this project and relate to other ongoing research.
