ASTSWMO - Association of State and Territorial Solid Waste Management Officials meet twice a year to exchange information on some of the emerging opportunities for forming partnerships with other government entities to address the challenges of waste program management and cleanup decision-making. This presentation will discuss EPA's recent guidance on evaluating vapor intrusion to indoor air pathway from groundwater and soils. This presentation will give a brief history of EPA and State's interest in vapor intrusion, outline the basic components in the guidance and then present the titles and objective of several ongoing EPA Office of Research & Development's research project for the guidance. The presentation will conclude with the names and numbers for the technical support contacts for EPA ORD.
