The model to be presented predicts the time courses of five hormones important in the regulation of the menstrual cycle. The model exhibits a bi-stable situation for the same parameter set, a normal cycle and an abnormal cycle. Simulations of hormone treatments show that the abnormal cycle can be perturbed into the normal cycle. Similarly, the model can be used to simulate the disruption of a normal menstrual cycle.
