Description:

Presentation to a citizen's environment alliance regarding contamination of the Detroit River. Types and amounts of contaminants were outlined and major pollution sources were identified. Outline for remediation plan was presented. However, before remediation can be done, upstream sources must be identified, controlled and remediated to prevent recontamination of a remediated site. (Once in Lake Erie, remediation is not possible).
