Description:
Point-of-use/Point-of-entry (POU/POE) arsenic removal systems were installed in seventeen homes that were found to have high levels of arsenic (50-480ug/L) in their well water. This presetation will describe the process and the problems encountered in selecting the treatment systems. Information on the ability of several different treatment technologies to remove arsenic to below the EPA drinking water maximum contaminant level will also be presented.
