Bioaccumulation factors and biota-sediment accumulation factors have been measured for tetra- to octa- polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans for forage fishes, i.e., alewife, bloater chub, deep water sculpin, slimy sculpin, smelt and for lake trout, age classes of 2,3,5,6,8, and 9 years. - - - Data for additional congeners for both forage and piscivorous fishes will be presented, compared, and evaluated. Special emphasis will be placed upon establishing uncertainty boundaries for the measured BSAFs and BAFs using comparisons with polychlorinated biphenyls.
