CONWAY GULCH, CANYON COUNTY, ID STATE AGRICULTURAL WATER QUALITY PROGRAM, 1988-1989
Description:
The Conway Gulch area (17050114) is a major source of pollutants effecting water quality and beneficial uses in Conway Gulch and the Lower Boise River. A pollution source and transport monitoring technique was used in evaluating water quality. The objective of this monitoring effort was to attempt to determine if the current implemented Best Management Practices (BMPs) are improving, not effecting, or degrading water quality in Conway Gulch. Water quality in Conway Gulch remains poor. Nutrients, sediments, bacteria, and metals continue to effect water quality and beneficial uses. Water Quality Status Report No. 104. Prepared by: Michael Ingham, Southwest Idaho Regional Office, Boise, ID. For: ID Dept of Health and Welfare, Division of Environmental Quality, November 1993. 76 pp.
