Citation:

McDonald, J. A MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATION. (REVISION 1): VOLUME II. USER MANUAL. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Washington, D.C., EPA/600/7-78/111B.

Description:

The report gives a comprehensive description of how to use the computer program which performs the calculations in the mathematical model of electrostatic precipitation, and instructs in the proper usage of the model. It describes in detail input and output data associated with the computer program, and presents the data in various forms covering the different uses of the model. It compares the predictions of the model with experimental data and discusses the agreement obtained. It describes the various applications of the model and demonstrates them in detail. It discusses applications of the model for troubleshooting and sizing of precipitators, emphasizing throughout the precautions to be taken in using the model.
