Description:
The report gives results of a 3-year program to assess the environmental impact of petroleum refining atmospheric emissions. This volume contains a detailed compilation of the data and a summary of the results obtained from measurements taken at 13 refineries throughout the U.S. The sampled sources included valves, flanges, pump and compressor seals, relief valves, drains, cooling towers, oil/water separators, dissolved air flotation units, and various process stacks.
