Citation:

Schock, M. CURRENT CORROSION BY-PRODUCTS AND CORROSION CONTROL RESEARCH. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Washington, D.C., EPA/600/D-91/198 (NTIS PB91231167).

Description:

USEPA research in the area of corrosion control consists of a combination of in-house research and extramural projects. he extramural projects have recently addressed the corrosion of solder in some Long Island water supplies, impacts of municipal ion-exchange softening on corrosion, developing an internal corrosivity protocol, and corrosion control in vet soft, acidic, low-carbonate waters. n-house research focuses on corrosion inhibitor mechanisms, solubility of metals in drinking water, and natural corrosion deposits.
