The IIT Research Institute's Radiofrequency Heating System is an innovative technology used to heat soil contaminated with organic chemicals. y increasing the temperature of the contaminated soil, radiofrequency heating increases the efficiency of soil vapor extraction systems. he IIT Research Institute's radiofrequency heating system was demonstrated at Kelly Air Force Base during 1993. his report describes that demonstration and discusses the results obtained.
