Chemosensory event-related potentials hold great promise for furthering understanding of the olfactory system and the processing of olfactory information. ollection of this type of data has been difficult and suggestions are presented to aid investigators new to this field. uggestions for ERP recording parameters, chemosensory stimulation parameters, and reporting conventions are discussed. lso discussed are the future directions of this field and the current needs.
