ATTIC (Alternative Treatment Technology Information Center) is an on-line computer database and repository for information on remediation and treatment technologies. t contains several of EPA's technology databases, including the Treatment Technology Database, the RREL (Risk Reduction Engineering Laboratory) Treatability Database, the UST (Underground Storage Tank) Database, the Oil/Chemical Spills Database, the BFSS (Bioremediation in the Field Search System) Database, and the VISITT (Vendor Information System for Innovative Treatment Technologies) Database. lso included in ATTIC are full-text technical and engineering bulletins, EPA's SITE (Superfund Innovative Technology Evaluation) program reports, and other key technical documents. s with other typical on-line telecommunications information exchange systems, ATTIC may be used as an electronic bulletin board, for E-mail, downloading and uploading files or retrieving a document (either abstract or full-text) to the user's personal computer. o access this database, call the ATTIC Hotline at (703) 908-2137 or the EPA ATTIC manager at (908) 321-6677.
