Description:
The Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) Cyclone Furnace Vitrification Technology is a treatment process for contaminated soils. he process was evaluated to determine its ability to destroy semivolatile organics and to isolate metals and simulated radionuclides into a non-leachable slag material. he feed material For the system was a prepared synthetic soil matrix (SSM) that was spiked with two organic compounds and six metals.
