Description:
Projections of the quantity and composition of solid waste involving 14 materials in 21 product categories are made to 1990 under five different scenarios. Results of the scenarios are compared with other studies, including the EPA Annual Reports to Congress on Resource Recovery and Waste Reduction, and projections by Midwest Research Institute in Base Line Forecasts of Resource Recovery, 1972-1990, prepared for EPA.
