Description:

The AQUlRE database system is one of the foremost international resources for finding aquatic toxicity information. Information in the system is organized around the concept of an aquatic toxicity test. A toxicity test record contains information about the chemical, species, endpoint, endpoint concentrations, and test conditions under which the toxicity test was conducted. For the past 10 years aquatic literature has been reviewed and entered into the system. Currently, the AQUlRE database system contains data on more than 2,400 specie, 160 endpoints, 5,000 chemicals, 6,000 references, and 104,000 toxicity tests.
