Description:

Presented within this report are cost data for construction and operation/maintenance of domestic water distribution and transmission pipelines, domestic water pumping stations, and domestic water storage reservoirs. ipeline cost data include costs for commonly utilized pipe materials, including ductile iron, asbestos cement, PVC pressure pipe (AWWA C900), and concrete. onstruction costs are presented in terms of the base installed pipe cost, which is comprised of the pipe material and its installation, and a series of additive items, including trenching, embedment, backfill and compaction, valves/fittings/hydrants, horizontal boring, sheeting and shoring, pavement removal and replacement, utility interference, traffic control, and household service connections. o allow comparison of new construction with rehabilitation of existing pipelines, cost data is included for cleaning, application of cement mortar lining, slip lining, and a proprietary process called Insituform. onstruction cost data for water pumping stations include construction of new installations, including package plants, as well as expansion of existing pumping stations. peration and maintenance requirements including labor, electrical, and materials are also presented. Storage reservoir construction cost data is presented for ground-level and elevated steel reservoirs, and below-ground and ground-level concrete reservoirs.
