Description:
Chlorine dioxide is an effective drinking water disinfectant. he major by-products of chlorine dioxide that are a concern, at this time are chlorite and chlorate. herefore, residual concentrations of these by-products should be kept as low as possible by efficient chlorine dioxide generation and effective treatment. n developing the disinfection/disinfection by-products regulation, however, health concerns of all the disinfectants considered as best available technology will be evaluated.
