Citation:

Martin, T. AND J. Creed. METHODS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF METALS IN ENVIRONMENTAL SAMPLES - SUPPLEMENT I. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Washington, D.C., EPA/600/R-94/111 (NTIS PB95125472).

Description:

This manual includes seven analytical methods four of which are considered multi-analyte methods, two are single analyte methods, and the total recoverable sample preparation procedure is given as a separate method write up. These methods utilize inductively coupled plasma (ICP)/atomic emission spectrometry (AES), ICP/mass spectrometry (MS), graphite furnace atomic absorption (GFAA), cold vapor atomic absorption (CVAA), and ion chromatography (IC). pplication of these methods is directed primarily toward aqueous samples such as wastewater, drinking and ambient waters. However, procedures for the analysis of solid samples such sludges and soils also are included in the multi-analyte methods 200.7, 200.8, and 200.9.
