A new publication from EPA Wetland Research Program called An Approach to Improving Decision Making in Wetland Restoration and Creation is a synthesis of five years of research done under the program. ach book chapter takes an aspect of the approach and develops it. undamentally, the thesis is to use existing information to guide future decision-making. n wetland restoration, the evaluation of data can be used o develop performance criteria and improve design guidelines. valuation revolves around "Performance curves" which involves looking at projects relative to natural wetlands. his report describes the techniques used to arrive at a method to be used to set quantitative performance criteria.
