Five aquifer types are presented: Unconsolidated alluvium, Snake River Plain alluvium, Snake River Plain basalt, Columbia River basalt, Sedimentary / volcanic rock. Should only be used for page-sized maps of state, due to the very generalized source materials & digitizing procedures used. Scale: Roughly 1:2 million. Extent: Idaho. Projection: Albers. Major Attributes: Polygons described by aquifer type codes & descriptions. Source: Idaho Dept. Water Resources
