WILDERNESS SOCIETY'S SALMON STATUS DATA FOR CA, ID, OR, AND WA
Description:
The fish status layers show the historic distribution of freshwater habitat and current status of ten different species of anadromous fish: spring/summer chinook, fall chinook, winter chinook, sockeye salmon, chum salmon, coho salmon, pink salmon, sea-run cutthroat, summer steelhead and winter steelhead. Spawning and rearing habitat was divided into five categories relative to the species risk of extinction, including areas where the fish are already extinct. Migration corridors are also delineated and so categorized. Easily incorporated into maps at the state/county/basin level. Scale: 1:250,000. Major Attributes: Geographic distribution polygons of ten anadromous species; status. Projection: R10 Albers.
