Description:

Analytical Methods were developed to determine the concentration of PCDD/PCDF in fish tissue for a national survey conducted by EPA. he method was designed to achieve a relatively low cost per sample while maintaining adequate quality control. t utilizes a Soxhlet extraction, acid-celite, florisil and carbon-silica gel chromatography, and HRGC/HRMS analysis. he minimum level of detection for 2,3,7,8-TCDD is approximately 1 pg/g. igorous quality assurance/quality control criteria have been developed to assure the validity of the data.
