The intent of this report is to provide those working in the engineering areas of multimedia environmental control an awareness of the types and breadth of regulations and criteria that have been and will be implemented. The information contains an engineering interpretation of some of the more stringent standards in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. This is intended to aid process designers in their efforts to design environmentally improved facilities. The information is not intended to be a definitive summary or an exhaustive listing. Nor, is the report able to reflect accurately the current status of regulations because of on-going additions or changes.
